    What makes Spring Faire truly special is its purpose as a fundraiser for the Voices for Children Foundation, helping create brighter futures for local foster kids. Thanks to our community’s incredible support, this event has grown far beyond its roots.

    Long before it became the fundraiser that it is today, Mother’s Day at the original Cascade Nursery was a beloved Yakima event. It marked the kickoff to the spring season, welcoming guests with live music, a bottomless pot of chili, and the chance to shop for plants while wandering the beautiful grounds. Families brought lawn chairs, stayed the whole day, and made it a tradition year after year.

    After purchasing Cascade Garden in 2008, Wes and Eileen Weresch were flooded with requests to bring back the cherished Mother’s Day celebration. In response, they launched a fresh new tradition of their own - Mother’s Day Spring Faire. New owners Gilbert and Beth Kalombo are keeping the tradition alive.

    Hours:10 am to 3 pm. Suggested donation at the entrance.
