Get ready for a day filled with Scottish flair and family-friendly festivities at the 2026 Prosser Scottish Fest on Saturday, June 20. This annual event promises a vibrant celebration of Scottish culture, featuring everything from Heavy Athletics and Clan gatherings to Celtic bands and Highland Dance.

    Highlights of the Event:

Heavy Athletics - Watch kilted men and women showcase their strength and skill in traditional events like the caber toss, sheaf toss, stone, hammer, and weight events. Brave souls can even try their hand at the Challenge Anvil Toss and Keg Toss for a chance to prove their mettle.

Celtic Music - Enjoy the enchanting sounds of renowned Celtic bands Katie Jane Band, Shamrock & Sage, Haley Adamson Band, Three Rivers Dulcimer Society, and Skweez The Weezle. From lively jigs to soulful ballads, these musicians will captivate audiences with their talent and passion for Celtic music.

Haran School of Irish Dance - Tri-Cities brings this traditional art form rooted in centuries of Irish culture and heritage. Known for its precise footwork, upright posture, and rhythmic complexity, Irish dance encompasses both solo and team performances set to traditional Irish music.

Highland Dance Competition - The sanctioned Highland Dance competitions feature Scottish Highland dances which were performed by men as pre-battle preparations and victory celebrations plus National dances developed after the Highland Dances were banned by the English.

Youth Activities - Younger attendees can join in on the fun with special youth versions of the athletics, open to ages 7-14. They can also unleash their creativity at Wee Scotland with Scottish-themed crafts and activities designed just for them.

Parade of Tartans - Join the colorful Parade of Tartans at noon, led by the Columbia Regional Pipe Band, the Tri-Cities chapter of the Son’s of the American Revolution, and the Mid-Columbia School of Highland Dance. The Chieftain of the Day and the iconic “Prosser Anvil Launch” will officially kick off the festivities, followed by a Highland showcase featuring pipe bands and dancers.

Highland Market - Browse through a variety of local and regional artisan stalls, as well as Scottish and Irish imports, at the Highland Market.

Highland Cattle - Visit with Hope, the Highland Coo, who marks her 13th year at the fest in 2026

The Flying Anvil Pub - Quench your thirst with a pint of local brew, including the custom-brewed Smokin’ Anvil Scottish Ale, and PNW cider at The Flying Anvil Pub.
